You Know What...

I don't feel like watching a movie that doesn't have a massive kraut body-count by the end.

Empty Promises to an Imaginary Audience

This is an exciting weekend for movies. Hopefully I will be able to write about them all (and some of the great shit I've seen in my 4 month absence). Anyways, here's my viewing schedule for this weekend:

District 9
Degrassi Goes Hollywood
Thirst
Ponyo
The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard

Belated RIP John Hughes

First and foremost all respect and sympathies must be paid to the now late John Hughes. I can't believe I'm just posting this on here now but I really haven't been in the blogging mood. News of his death saddened me. Hughes was one of the first writer/director/producer's I ever cared/knew about. Sixteen Candles was one of the first movies that perpetuated my late initiation and ever-growing interest and obsession with film. I always loved Ferris Bueller and the Vacation movies as a kid. We all loved his movies. It was truly great to see amount of concern and attention paid to him, particularly on the internet.
